

THE REGISTRAR
The Registrar shall be responsible for the school records of students, and for his/her functions and responsibilities explicitly stated by the school. Unless, otherwise, indicated by the school, the Registrar shall be the principal contact person with the Department of Education (DepEd)and Commission 0n Higher Education (CHED).
“Every private school shall preserve and maintain the integrity and confidentiality of its student records. The issuance of student records shall be done by the Registrar in accordance with the law and the regulations contained in the Manual for Registrars.”
The Registrar is inherently a part of the administrative set-up of the institution and member of the policy–making body of the school. He/she is directly responsible to the head of the institution. Her/his office is the repository of highly important, delicate and confidential documents. Her/his decision carries weight in cases involving credentials, evaluation of subjects or credits, student accounting, academic placement and related activities.
