                        We, the Augustinian Sisters of our Lady of Consolation, are called to incarnate with living faith the Compassionate Christ in a Community of Friends and in humble enduring service to the needs of the Church especially the poor through Evangelization.

The School Seal

 

The heart: The symbol of love and charity, which is the first rule of Saint Augustine.

 

The Crosier and Mitre: The symbols of the Bishopric of Saint Augustine, one of the Fathers of the Church.

 

The Book: The writings of Saint Augustine and his intellectual depth as a writer make him the greatest Doctor of the Church.

 

Tolle, Lege; Tolle, Lege: “Take and Read.” The words heard from the voice by Saint Augustine leading to his conversion to Catholicism in the year 386.

 

Unity, Charity and Truth: Gospel values which serves as the traditional motto of Augustinian Schools, after that of Augustine’s life.

 

La Consolacion College – Biñan: An institution of learning dedicated to the education of the youth of the Philippines following the Christian Augustinian Filipino Tradition.
